The server being too busy is either caused by these bots that keep signing up or whatever other websites are also running on the server this one is on...

Either way, it's annoying.

Guys, the server has been having load issues and I'm trying to figure out why. I mean it loads to the point to where it is totally unresponsive and will throw db errors. Last time this happened was 10 minutes ago grrrrrrr. Just bear with me.

Well, it happened at 9:20am PST for about 10 minutes, then subsided and I don't know why yet :banghead:

Haha, we keep getting that "Server is too busy" message, which means either we are getting a hell of a lot of traffic on this site, or the other sites on the same server (those listed above) are getting a lot of traffic.

Yeah--I knew about the "Server too busy" messages; just not the implications of your previous post.

Possibly related--or maybe it's a bot-thing: several times when I've checked to see who's online and it shows where folks are, there will be times when half or more of the "Guests" will be viewing the exact same thread. Seems to be too high a percentage of visitors at the same place to be simple coincidence.
