T50YS / The Fifty Year Sword

I get the feeling that giving the forum the abbreviated name is making it harder for new-comers to find the proper place to inquire/find info about the book, leading to threads in the of Leaves section asking basic questions that are answered in the fifty year sword area. I'd suggest changing the forum name.

I think that it's a good idea, but I hope you guys know that it won't lower the number of jackassical questions in the main forum substantially... There new morons flocking here daily (and some old morons, too).

I get the impression MZD wants this place to be as difficult and unintuitive as possible. He wants those links to get broken when the forum gets upgraded. He (I'm assuming) asked for the Useful Threads to be unsticky'd at one point. If he had his way, there would be no Search Function. He wants to turn this place into an extension of his . If you can read "The 50 Year Sword" and not realize what "T50YS" stands for, then you shouldn't be allowed on the internet in the first place. Likewise, you probably wouldn't be quite up to the whole "intelligent discussion" thing, either.

Just keep yelling at them. Do it the first time, and while they might bitch and complain about it, at least they won't post things without searching anymore.
