Spelling error?

This is weird. I haven't quite finished the book, but there's an oddity i came across. Yet, there's nothing said on it at all, no contextual reasoning, no footnote, NOTHING. Here, read:

"He might have spent all night drinking had exhaustion not caught up with me"
Page 320 of the Full-Colour edition.

This is Z's stuff on TNR. Johnny puts no footnotes, nothing at all. Look at it yourself, it doesn't make ANY sense whatsoever.

Thoughts? Offer me some clarity!
