I'm pretty sure only the TriColor version actually exists.
My ISBN is also identical.

I would assume TriColor is what the first edition press is maybe? Mine has all kinds of colors in it...purple, orange, blue, green and red...though the red seems to only appear on the cover pages with the collages.

...I believe only the B&W (ARC) edition and the tri-Color edition exist. ..even though there's orange, green, and red, ..also appears in Blue & Grey.. This may be pointing out the obvious, but if it's news for someone, then it was worth it.
I was looking through the text (not the concordance) before, for an instance of the word house, and if it appears in blue or not, but wasn't able to find any.
Does anyone know if a page where it appears, and if it is infact, blue or not?

You can start at either end... but I believe some ARC recipients mentioned that the book flowed better if you start with Hailey.Originally Posted by aeon_flame
That's how I've been reading it, and I've noticed no trouble with the flow.
In other news, I just saw the tri-color edition for the first time - took the boyfriend down to B&N to pick up his copy. I was very pleased.

Ahh...I figured it out. Feel like a doofus! I was confused by the upside down text, wasn't sure if I was to read that or flip to the other end of the book, but figured it out.
Flows pretty nicely. Thanks!

Yes, it looks great. There's a Borders right down the block from my uni so I walked over in-between classes and picked myself up a copy (along with the colored edition of HoL). Took me a while to locate it though. 2pm and they were still sitting on a cart. Tsk tsk.

I mentioned this somewhere else in this forum... the word "house" is not in the text of OR.Originally Posted by CpVb006

And MZD changed a few things, too...
ARC:
S348: Patience. Their Value. Because I am without value.
H348: Temperaments. Their Worth. Because I am without worth.
Hardcover:
S348: Patience. Their Resolve. Because I am without value.
H348: Temperaments. Their Gall. Because I am without worth.
and that's not all...
Just learned that my ordered shipped out! Can't wait!
To all the people that bought in on a bookstore: How good those the book seems to be selling?

For a book as amazing as OR...and from an author who wrote HoL? The book is nto selling quick enough...nor even near it. I found evidence of this today when I stormed Waldenbooks at 10:01 AM; a friend and I were the only two looking at the "New Release" Section. I walked out at app. 10:13 (..i dont know why I was so paranoid today), and not one person had entered, or picked up a copy of OR since I had entered.
Bottom Line: ..not quick enough.
When I got to B&N (at about 9:15 P.M.), we couldn't find OR at the front of the store... There were only two copies on the shelf next to HoL, but when heading to the checkout line we found the display which was lacking several copies. So yay! MZD is an impulse buy!

Still waiting on my copy...
I was an idiot and pre-ordered it with regular shipping, not predicting a) how long it would take to ship and b) that I'd live down the street from approximately 10 different bookstores. :banghead:
Maybe I'll check it out on Friday just to see if the bookstores here stock it...and sigh forlornly...
"Who cares what you believe?" said the Captain amazed.
I'd say more people have/are buying it online. Amazon has it ranked as #568 in books right now. And consider the amount of preorders. . .

i was not ready for this
There are pores here.
Since I've started reading, whenever I come across the letter O in any text I've been reading throughout the day, I have had to double check and make sure it's not green or yellow.
I'm going crazy.
