because she is always refering to greeks/ be it mythology. and in one of the chapters she capitalized the word gods, meaning more than one. it was the letter that she placed a curse on the guy, cursing out greek mythology characters.

    Is that the only reason?

I reference Greek gods sometimes, but I am not Greek.

Also, if she was Greek, why would that matter?

If I refer to geek things, does it make me a geek?

wow i guess that makes me a Weasil!(or at least a ferret) but any way, the point I was trying to reach was that whenever Johnny's mother wrote the word God, she didnt capitalize it, then when she wrote the word gods, she did. and from hearing her mention greek characters i just assumed she was greek, or in the very least does not beleive in Christ

So are you saying that people from Greece are atheists? Do you seriously think that people in modern Greece worship Zeus et. al., and that Greeks (ancient or otherwise) possess the only polytheistic belief system that would worship multiple gods?

I don't mean to be rude, I really just can't follow your point.

I guess it does make you a weasil[sic] or at least a ferret.
and guess what... I almost never capitalize god or Gods and I believe in god and Jesus when it's convenient for me, like when I've done something really really bad and want to be forgiven. It's very convenient.
uh-oh!...looks like maybe now I am God or at least Jesus! oh dear....

In the biggest way...I am in fact, a high priestess in that religion...does the notion of a Temple prostitute mean anything to you?! Call me Mary Magdalene....all my closest friends do.

    What's not to brag about?

You walk into a Walmart and find pretty damn much anything you want. Ditto Barnes and Nobles.

America might be shit about a lot of things, but as far as making goods available for its citizens/consumers goes, it beats everyone else.

No argument from me on that one: The worst Mexican food I ever ate was in Paris. And after a summer in Europe it really freaked me out how easy it was to go grocery shopping when I got home...the stores are open 24 hours a day here! SO convenient!

This is an important detail, and if you look in the Index, you'll notice that God and god are both listed, with the exact same page refs, indicating that there is no inherent prioritisation of mono- or polytheistic views.
