    Further reading?

Hey, I read of Leaves for the first time a few months ago and am still digesting it. I know I'll have to read it more times before I have much worthwhile to post here, but I was wondering if anyone had any suggested books (or films or anything else for that matter) that might supplement HOL in interim.

    Thanks,
    Justin

Glad to see I've actually read a sizable chunk of that already (everything but the hard stuff, :) ). I've got a good recommendation for everyone, though I wouldn't consider it much use in better understanding HoL, Gary Panter's "Jimbo in Purgatory" would probably appeal to fans of the novel. While I'm at it, a lot of people recommended Gaiman's "Sandman," so I'll throw in Grant Morrison's "Invisibles," which is chock full of mythological, literary and historical references in similar fashion to HoL. Thanks for the links, that oughta keep me busy.

You could, you know, add those to the existing thread I linked...
