• English as She Is Spoke

This afternoon at Barnes & Noble, I had the unexpected and distinct pleasure of coming across English as She Is Spoke. As the blurb reveals, it is one of the stranger non-fiction books ever written, made all the stranger (and funnier) not because of its intent but because of its methods and the results of its intent. The samples provided from the text are indeed amusing, but I assure you much funnier stuff is in there--the dialogues in particular are not to be missed.

That looks most enjoyable.

I love me some McSweeney's.

Have you read Every thing is Illuminated?

And what is wrong with the html code? I get rid of the spaces, but they keep coming back.

Stencil,
I own and have started Foer's book. I like it a great deal.
