  • POE in Repo! The Genetic Opera

    Hello!

I'm just letting you good fans of the and of POE know that on Monday from 10am to 10pm EST, the chat over at repo-opera.com will be playing it's entire soundtrack. Why should you care? Because POE lends her voice to some of the tracks. Specifically the songs "Things you see in a Graveyard", "Zydrate Anatomy", "Legal Assassin" and plays the vocal role of the single mother in "We Started this Op'ra Sh!t".

So if you want to hear what POE's been working on come join the Repo! Army on Monday.

Is that the same 'Army' that has been trolling file sharing sites putting up fake links?

    Cuz... if so... NO.

Yeah, that was stupid of them, the director even appologized for that and the dummy files should be all deleted by now.

From the Amazon page description of the Repo! Genetic Opera album:

"Also lending her voice to the soundtrack is the edgy pop star Poe."

        I can't hear it.

This is the "single mother" (played by Jake Reardon):

          This is Poe:

Part of Jake Reardon's biography trivia says, "Acting teacher and voice coach David Smukler was most instrumental in her training."

So... they replaced her voice with Poe's? .... really?

            What does it all mean?
