View Full Version : Make the South Park you

Here (http://www.planearium2.de/flash/spstudio.html) you can make South-Park style renditions of you, your friends, your colleagues or even your enemies. Then hit "print" to save as a screenshot, paste it in paint, upload to imageshack (http://imageshack.us/) (free pic hosting) and add it in member photos (http://www.houseofleaves.com/forums/viewtopic.php?t=3130)! It's ideal for those too shy to post theyselves in "real" form, lest Head_ModIFier cruelly warp their fragile faces.

I would go 1st, but I can't work out how to save a screenshot on my japanese keyboard. Sob.

Wowsy, this is nice! But I'm a mean vulgar-mouthed SOB as it is, so why do I need to further Southparkerize (I'm telling you, I'm great at making words up!) myself? :-)

Besides, none of those southparkies are thin as a straw, which is how I am.

you have press "Print Screen" on your keyboard

this will put a screen shot or whatever is on your screen in your clipboard.

open up a picture editing program like Photoshop or MSpaint or PaintShopPro or whatever and paste it.. and edit it...

upload it to imageshack and put it here.

go now.

open what file?

for Photoshop, you have to have the screen cap in your clipboard... (just press Print Screen when looking at the southpark page)

then when you open Photoshop, press Ctrl-N to make a new canvas and then press Ctrl-V to paste the screen cap from your clipboard in the canvas.

I've tried that about 5000 times, but photoshop keeps refusing to open the file on account of it being of an unknown format.

I, personally, use Irfan View for all these small things. It rocks! :-)

How can you play guitar with a chainsaw ?

zakalwe
02-21-2005, 03:32 PM
Yes, I wondered that. He also seems to be working in telesales whilst chainsawing a guitar; truly a renaissance man.

fearful_syzygy
02-21-2005, 10:35 PM
Never mind the chainsaw, how the hell does he expect to be able to play guitar in mittens? He also doesn't look particularly Indian to me, but perhaps I'm being, um, something...

Who said I was playing the guitar with the chainsaw?

Notice the off-base look in the eyes, the mittens, the microphone.

This guy is a chainssaw weilding music man maniac! (And that guitar could be a machine gun! Camouflaged and all that!)

(I never thought we were supposed to make absolute replicas of ourselves here. Or did I? Subconscious association and all that.) :-)

He also doesn't look particularly Indian to me, but perhaps I'm being, um, something...

Well, I don't have typical black Indian hair; I have brown hair. Other than that... I don't think there's anything Indian/Non-Indian about the dude in the picture who is<strike>n't</strike> me. :-)

PS: Yeah, I watched too many action movies for my own good. :-)

Well, it looks like you have too much stuff; must be hard weilding it all (in other words, the original image your image conjures is of a textbook, cliched chainsaw-weilding maniac* much in the same vein as my image; but since this one could potentially sound degrading, I thought of the stuff outside the parenthesis). :-)

Also, what's that long green thing in the right hand, hidden by all the tropical drink and coffee? :-)

*but fret not, because that is the image every other image usually conjures in my cranium.

Well, I'm kind of screwed for now. I don't have a printer hooked up. And since there's not one installed, I can't get a screen shot to show up. Ooh, everyone's going to be on the edge of their seats with anticipation.

One day they're going to click on this thread and infally se—

fearful_syzygy
03-06-2005, 10:58 PM
What do you need a printer for? Just hit PrtSc (PrintScreen) and then hit Ctrl+N followed by Ctrl+V in Photoshop or wherever and bob should be your uncle. The same goes for the superhero.

OriginalIdea

Oh... forgot to mention that that key just wasn't doing anything. I don't know if it's because I got the keyboard from my brother to replace the one I hated because I couldn't type as fast as I wanted on account of the fucking keys and typos and not registering hits, or registering hits more than once and all that extra bullshit (the important information actually being that I didn't install the new keyboard, just plugged it in); or (and I don't claim to know a hell of a lot about computers, so this may be insubstantial) it might be that the keyboard doesn't register that function because I don't have a printer installed. :?:

fearful_syzygy

It doesn't do anything visible until you hit 'Paste' in a new image file you've created in Photoshop or MS Paint or wherever.
