need help decoding

my boyfriend just bought me the hard back edition and i noticed (cause i have the paper back also) that there is this jumble of random letters and symbols in the front and back of the book. i heard that it is something johnny did, like a letter or a song. is there a website i need to go to? please help, its driving me insane!

It's not something Johnny did, but related to Johnny. Notice the font! For more info click on search in the top-right hand corner of this page and look for hex. I'll get a working link later.
